Earthjustice is a non-profit public-interest law firm dedicated to protecting the natural resources and wildlife and to defending the right of all people to a healthy environment.  You can ask to be on their email list and be alerted any time there is a bill pending in Congress related to natural resources or wildlife.  They will provide you with a summary of the important features of any pending environmental legislation.  You can very simply submit your position to your representatives in Washington, DC via mass e-mail or you can use their information to compose your own written letter, which can be mailed to your Senators and Congressperson.  This web site will help you to begin to let your representative know where you stand on issues of energy conservation, maintenance of habitat and restoration of healthy eco-systems.
