2008 State of the World Innovations for a Sustainable Economy

The World Watch Institute Looking for a snapshot of humankinds’ progress towards a sustainable world but only wanted to read one book? This is for you. Written by several authors, the news is both scary and hopeful. Reading this book has helped me understand much of what I hear on the news these days about carbon trading, economic indexes, etc. One of my favorite quotes from this book: “Urgency and vision are the twin pillars on which humanity’s hope now hangs.”
