Our next Meeting/Gathering.  We will meet next on September 2nd, 7:00 p.m., Stockton Municipal Building.  Please join us. 


A special “Thank You” to Rose and Gary Ross for hosting the Poultry Tour July 11th.  Twenty plus folks attended.   We appreciate you taking the time to show us your operation and answering our many questions.  It was an interesting, fun and the treats delicious.

August 10, 7 p.m. Vegetable Garden Walk, Jeremy Rankin. 1867 Edgewood Lane, Stevens Point.  (At the intersection of Torun and Jordan, go North on Torun about 40 yards and turn left immediately into a small subdivision on Jack’s Drive.  Follow Jack’s Drive until it forces you to turn which will become Edgewood.  A blue house at the end of the road.)  Visit a first-year raised bed garden (2700 sq. feet), organic methods and a fruit garden.  Also a four-tier composting system.  Sponsored by Portage County UW-Ext. and Central Rivers Farmshed.
